CLIENT: 20th Century Fox

ARTIST: Alex Lehours

BRIEF: 20th Century Fox were understandably keen to capitalise on the enormous box-office success of Deadpool by providing a strong marketing platform for the Blu-ray and DVD release.

The nature of the movie and character meant that this provided a unique opportunity to push the creative envelope. Fox wanted this piece to be cheeky, controversial and interactive. We had the perfect location available in Surry Hills and the timing of the federal election provided us with the perfect theme for our concept.

With Alex Lehours visualising this design perfectly we installed the piece over the course of a weekend, engaging with the public and drawing the required attention to people and social media alike.

He may not win the election, but he won a fair few new fans. Perhaps we’ll even see a No Pants Party on the ballot form in the near future.
